The Beast, 2013 Toyota Hilux.

Let the modifications begin. After waiting 5 months for Toyota UK to replace the rusty chassis and dechroming and debadging, the mods are almost complete,

First job was the 12000 Warn Winch and Rival Aluminium Bumper. The Black grille is from 4x4AT.

Lining up the guide and cutting the hole for the snorkel is always a twitchy moment. All went well.

I chose Terrain Tamer suspension from OZ and the ride is a massive improvement.

Finished off with black rock sliders and the camo vinyl, I think the end result looks great. I had the original alloys powder coated with 265/70 Kumho AT52 tyres and the suspension 40mm lift I now have 50mm lift and under body protection is Rival Aluminium.

What a difference.

I completed all the work myself and with a split charge circuit in the tub with leisure battery and ARB fridge on a full length slide, the Beast is ready for anything.
