Green laning can be hard work. The storms of the past bring down trees that have to be chopped and cleared usually by the first to use the lane after the storm. Sarn Helen being open only from 1st June to 21st August had some people turn around when faced with a tree of around 30" diameter at the bottom blocking the route. Some smaller trees had been cleared by other groups no one had tackled the 'big one' and some had created a detour which was used to the point where it was almost impassible.
Whilst leading a group with the Wild Dragons Greenlane Club I was first on scene, out with the Milwaulkee 18v chainsaw and 30 mins later the lane was open for all to enjoy.

We even managed to push the trunk back up!
